Standing on the Godavari, one of India's holiest rivers, Nasik is peppered with hundreds of temples and bathing ghats. It is an absourbing, colorful town and the Ramkund is the focal point for Nasik's pilgrims. The Ramkund's waters are believed to provide a liberation of the soul for those whose ashes are immersed here.
