This is what happens when your meter is tricked by the light coming in window. I would have spot metered on the people, and that would let the roof go lighter and the people would be more visible. You can work on this in CS2's Shadow Highlight control. It will restore detail in the people, yet not blow out the glass roof. You can adjust the sliders back and forth to improve contrast, color, and exposure as need be. I just did it myself and it worked beautifully. Just once click, too. I did not even have to adjust the sliders very much. You will find the shadow/highlight control under "Image" and then "Adjustments" It is way down on that list. Try it. It is a good way to rescue underexposed detail without burning out the highlights in the process.
