I haven't heard the term "city steps" in ages. I'm a Pittsburgh native and haven't seen the great city in about 14-15 years. I'm finally getting back there at the end of July for a reunion!

I've lived on Troy Hill all of my life. I love my neighborhood and am proud to raise my children as Fifth Generation. In my nearly forty years, I belive that I know every inch of Troy Hill. I can count 9 pair of city steps including Pig Hill/Rialto St. and the closed ones from Eggers to E. Ohio. However, I can not place the city steps in your photo. Please, disclose to me the location. No kidding, I will loose sleep over this.

Fantastic picture. My Gramma lived ib Superior Ave. on the Northside since before I was born. I now live in Illinois, the flattest part of the whole state. I really get homesick for Pa. espicially in the fall. Thanks for posting your pictures.
