The Pond, Drayton Hall Plantation

"So," our cheerful guide at Drayton Hall said to us, "I once had a tourist who told me 'I just took a photograph of your plastic alligator!' No! There are NO plastic alligators in the pond. So, be careful; if you see a baby alligator, Mama is not far away!" I played with the color channel on this one, pushing up the red channel. It's one of those flat, non-contrasty, photos that is likely only going to look good as some kind of monochrome.
