Green Anole 1

Austin, Texas

Not technically a bug, but since it's not much bigger than they are, I thought I'd put it here.

I was vacuuming the window sills and blinds when I noticed this little guy in my window. It was about an inch long from nose to hips - tail was at least another three or four inches. I guess it came in through some crack or crevice and couldn't find its way back out. It was bright green when I first spotted it - had turned brown to match the dark windowsills when I went back to check on it a couple hours later.

This image was awfully washed-out looking since I took it through a dirty window. I burned the colors back in with Paint Shop Pro 8. Other than that and some cropping and compression to reduce the file size, I didn't have to do much to it.
