To replace the tacky gold tinsel, I made something a bit more subtle (or at least as subtle as one can get with a fan site for these guys ;-).

The background had evergreen branches and snowflakes. The section headers were some Christmas font or other - one that looked like candy canes if I remember correctly. Much easier on the eyes than the previous concept.
