Daylesford and the Victorian Spa Country

A popular weekend destination amidst forested hill country in the Central Highlands region of Victoria, around 1.5 hours drive west of Melbourne. Founded during the great gold rush of the 1850s onward, Daylesford and nearby Hepburn Springs now tempt day and weekend visitors with sophisticated wining and dining, boutique shopping and mineral spas. Perched atop Wombat Hill, the Convent Gallery is a landmark conversion of a former Catholic convent.
