And here’s the main reason why Glastonbury is always so special to me, even when the weather and ground conditions are as irksome as they were this year. It’s you lot!
These photos were predominantly taken at two events. Firstly the board meeting on Thursday night for the official Glastonbury website message boards in Jazzworld. The Pear Cider flowed and there was fancy dress aplenty, so many thanks to all of you who turned up & who dressed up for the occasion. I lost my phone & I missed the opportunity to appear onstage for a Pope-off with Father Flounder of Pronghorn but it was worth it 100 times over.
Secondly there was Bus & Hipster’s Lost Vagueness wedding on the Friday afternoon, followed by a reception in the Ballroom. Congratulations once again to the happy couple & massive love & respect to Bubblie & all the others who put so much effort into making this such a special event. I only wish I could have also attended the other “weddings” I was invited to over the weekend but I’m afraid other commitments intervened. I hope they were just as much fun.
In addition there are a few pictures of friends old & new as well as one or two random individuals who I always find it too hard to resist asking to strike a pose. Funnily enough they never seem to object!
