Glastonbury 2008

I wasn’t going to go to Glastonbury this year. I really wasn’t! There were just so many things that weren’t right about the festival in 2007. The litter, the oppressive security, the crap attitudes of a lot of the people and the sheer weight of numbers trying to get around in those horrendous conditions had totally put me off the idea. But nearly a month after the tickets went on sale the magnetic draw of Worthy Farm got its hooks into me once again & I had a change of heart. I’m so glad I did because my faith in the festival has been totally restored.

Despite the “Love The Farm – Leave No Trace” slogan there is still far too much litter and, like so many other festivals over the last couple of summers, the scourge of the tent thieves has returned. But even a visit from one of the aforementioned lowlife on the Sunday evening wasn’t going to spoil my enjoyment this year. Michael Eavis will no doubt be chanting his annual mantra that Glastonbury 2008 was the best ever. But this time you know he may well have a point!

Here’s why….
