Playing With Purple Fringing

A lot of lenses with wide aperture, such as the Canon 85 f/1.2L and the Canon 50 f/1.2L are known for getting "purple fringing" and other types of "Chromatic Aberration" (CA) when photographing high-contrast areas with certain conditions -- at real wide apertures I guess the light rays get easily confused!

Here I'll occasionally post interesting examples as I come across them.
