The Zombie Walk is an annual October world-wide event that has been going for several years. It supports various charities. Portland, OR had its own on Saturday afternoon, October 24.

It was a brightly sunny day, which made photography a challenge, but a large number of photographers did show up and joined in the fun.

We met at a park in central downtown around three in the afternoon and "lurched" in a wide loop ending up in Pioneer Square for about two hours of walking. I think it was quite a spectacle for unsuspecting locals to see hundreds of people in freaky costumes shuffling through the city streets!
