I had the sad task of sending my nice Canon 5D Classic camera off for repairs, following the mirror falloff incident while shooting at the 4th of July festival two days previously.

Since I'm so fond of the 4-year-old body I decided to take my old 30D along and memorialize the occasion. The poor 5D looked a bit forlorn without a lens on, and I had taken out its battery and memory card, and taken off its strap, so it was truly a sorry sight -- I shot some pics of it with my bike and backpack, then brought it in and dropped it off...

In the same shopping strip is a Crafts Warehouse store where I have shopped for photo framing supplies, so I stopped there so that the bike could pose!
