Going to some of my usual places, I saw a new type of goose and an unusual number of Great Blue Heron roosting in trees together, along with a moon and a tree in the setting sun!

I'm showing the tree shot first, then on to the critters, and finally a shot of the afternoon moon!

I had the hardest time with birds in flight here -- not as many keepers and not as sharp. Handling the long focal length and trying to keep up == not so easy, and it shows up at close crops!
