I had to make a quick trip to the Oregon Coast shortly after it was hit by a heavy winter storm. There were flooding rivers that over-ran several towns and forced the ocean at high tide up to doorsteps in others, and there were gale-force winds than blew down many trees, knocking out all power, phone, cell phone, and cable/internet service to the whole region. These are a sampling of the few pics I was able to take: it was late in the afternoon (dark by the time I got to the coast) and I was in a hurry to get to where I needed to go!
