I set out in the late afternoon to the Burnt Bridge Creek wetlands, where I had been numerous times before, with a simple plan: I decided to use my Better Beamer Flash Extender for the first time. I'd had this simple flash magnifyer rig for two or three years but never put it to use, so I set out with it on my Canon 1D mk III, 100-400 with a 1.4x Teleconverter and a 580 EX flash.
All I saw aside from some very high-flying geese were some robins, but they gave me a chance to get some nice shots in the setting sun, followed by a bit of evergreen in the setting sun.
