Moon Shots, August 16 2011

The moon was out, there was a lot of bits of clear sky, so I set up my tripod with the Canon 1D Mk III, the Canon 100-400mm lens and the 1.4x Teleconverter, giving me 560mm of reach. fortunately, I was able to get good sharp shots and didn't have to crop the images an unreasonable amount -- you can see the detail!
