1 May 2010

The other day, a gigantic tree fell and crushed this kindergarten outside my house.
Luckily it happened during the night and nobody was injured.

I'm just really gutted I never got a shot of the tree.
It was a magnificent tree. Thick bare trunks, surreal gothic look, and terrifyingly foreboding at night when the moon shone through it.
I was waiting for the perfect moment to capture it.

Lesson learnt. Never wait, just shoot, because even a tree can disappear overnight.
