One a day...Every day

Today I join others like Paul Walters https://pbase.com/pualwalt and Karen Nichols (to name a few) who have embarked on the challenge of a Picture a Day for a year. I am new to digital photography but not photography. I am still learning Photoshop (does anyone really know this all of this program?) so watch the evolution. I emailed Paul to learn about the collage, for now I will frame my images and do that later. Thanks for stopping by....Tony

Hi Tony....I'm so glad I ran into you at the elevator, and was able to get your card for the gallery. Those shots you took on our trip were amazing. You are an incredibly gifted photographer. I will take a look at some of your other galleries too, if it is okay. I have an artistic eye, and can really appreicate your work.

Hope all is well at work. I'm in the RE lending industry as well (working on Appraiser License, Broker License - taking Broker exam in SD next week) and other industry areas. Stay in touch.... Cathy

Tony: what a great collection you have from your first few days! Your approach is very original and that will stand you in good stead when some of us are struggling what to take a picture of after weeks and weeks of dark winter evenings. PBase will only allow so much text in the gallery introductions and so I cannot add you to my links there. When I get round to it, I will fix this (there are ways round it, but they're a bit untidy). Anyway, keep giving us your little gems, they will only egg us on to take better shots.

Welcome to the club Tony? Good start! Photoshop - I learn something new as I go along. Deke McClelland maybe knows a lot about PS (hope he's not reading this!!) - But has a good book, Photoshop7 Bible though quite expensive is quite comprehensive I think! He has two versions out, one of which goes onto more advanced techniques. I have both for some reason but you'd want the one with the blonde girl wearing a picture frame on the cover!! Good luck .... I've been going about a month now - great fun and a challenge to know you have to take something half decent - but never stopped me from uploading anyway LOL
