Just a quick shot of some rings I am shooting for a client. I did not use the bees tonight I know the white balance is off but it is a decent shot for the pad.

Jewelery is very hard to shoot. You can see what I have done with them in my other galleries. Reflections just kill you. At least I am learning on the tough ones.

This is wonderful. The whitebalance actually enhances the gold. And the selective focus ... great for the PAD and probably good for the client shot if you just move the ring that's in focus out a bit more - of course depends on what the client wants. I did jewelry photography for a little while for someone who was starting a website ... it was the hardest thing I ever did! Good luck!

I think the color looks gorgeous. This is a beautiful shot that I could easily see in a magazine.

You need to get one of those product tent thingies that you shoot shiny stuff in. I bet you could get something for less than 100 bucks.
