Black and white week for the Picture a Day club….

Symbolism:

Today is a milestone we all have them… a Birthday. I am 44 years young today.

So what’s up with the image?

Instead of sand in an hourglass I used water. Time… it slips so fast away from us. Are you making the most of what you have? Are you living your life to the fullest?

I hope I am and I think I am. Two years ago I was I was going through cancer treatment. In a lot of ways I think I am lucky to have been through it. Focus, I am ALL about focus. What is important? Is it money and chasing a dollar? Not for me..…. It is about connections, relationships and people you meet (face to face or even here on pbase). I have been fond of saying that life is about food, sex and art. Not really Maslow's hierarchy of human needs but it works for me.

Lance Armstrong says he was “pitched back”. I was too. I am still here to create and touch as many as I can, that is what I believe. Food, sex and art. Well you get the art; those close to me get the food and sex.

Make the most of what you have…. Time..... it goes quick…
