Merano is nestled between vineyards and Alpine mountains. The thermal baths and promenades in the center are
rooted in the 19th century tradition as a spa town. Its historical role is visible in the many medieval arcades and castles.
We stayed a week on the outskirts of Merano and had a great time, good weather, good accommodations, and very good food.
