Clattering

Katzweiler, Germany

and courting. The storks are happy to be back together again after their separate Winter stay in
Northern Africa.

In the second shot, you can see the Storks MOVED their nest BACK to the original
spot on the church chimney to the chagrin of the parishioners. since they prior
to the storks return. moved the nest (see the platform in back on the roof). So
they now will have to again turn off the heat system inside the church until the stork
family flies back south early Fall.

Too bad about the nest. It shows that they know where it needs to be. I would think some warmer air rises through the chimney, even when the heat is off. Amazing creatures. V
