Great photo, I was here just a couple of weeks ago and took a similar aspect shot from Penha Chapel. It leads me to believe that this picture may have been flipped by mistake. The main entrance (with police guard) looked to be on Estr. De Santa Sancha.

this is the governor's house. not in nam van, this is praia grande further down the river (almost next door to what was stanley ho's pièd-a-terre when in loco). mind you, having said that, macau is so tiny that it seems ridiculous to fraction it up so!!

No, it is a photo of Macau, Please note the flag flying above the building was not a Union Jack but a Portuguese one. The building is still found in the Nam Wan area (SE of the penisula). Still it is a precious historical shot. Voted
