The Epitome of Lonliness ...

Vermont

... found this Zebra penned up on a private farm in Vermont ... although he could go back into the barn, his excercise area was just that small pen. Sad (in my estimation)

This is indeed very sad. At Fossil Rim in Texas the animals appear to be well cared for and have many acres to roam freely in safety. I love animals so much and it is beyond comprehension the way some human beings treat animals... but then look at how cruel people can be to other people. (Now you've got me on my soapbox!) Which brings me to one of the quotes in my gallery..."Until he extends the circle of his compassion to all living things, man will not himself find peace." (Dr. Albert Schweitzer)

Thanks for doing your part in exposing these cruel conditions. V

Sheesh, that's just not right! Agree with Dan. What an awful, awful sight; it makes me despair of my fellow man...

They really should institute a test before people can have children or pets. Thanks for showing this Tom.

This is sad, Tom, what is wrong with these people? Unless he was rescued and being
brought back to health, this is just wrong.

Tom, I completely agree with your assessment ! It is almost inhumane. V
