My Samoyeds part 1

Samoyed dogs has been an interest of mine all my life.I got my first one when I was three. I have always had between 1 and 7 dogs in my adult life. My main interest is to preserve the original breed type, kind temperament and working abilities. I enjoy training my dog in front of a sled or cart in the winter. I also join a lot of sled/cartraces. I appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Beautiful site/sight! Just 3 days with my first Samoyed puppy. Searched for names. Torben in Norse stands for "Thor, God of thunder's bear." He's finally named. I hope he is as happy and healthy as your family. Thank you.

How beautiful your dogs are. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I have loved the breed since I was a little girl in Denmark. We had three of them over the years. I now live in Kentucky and have an 8-year old female samoyed. My husband and I have had her since she was 8 weeks old and just a little ball of fuzz and with lots of personality already then.

It was such joy, and agony, to look at these wonderful pictures. We lost our Molly two weeks ago, the last of our three Sammy's. She was 13. We had such joy and entertainment and love from these dogs, such different personalities with each. I don't think there is a more beautiful dog in the world than a Samoyed, and yours are perfect examples. Thanks for sharing. Bec

I love your photos. Your pics of your happy Samoyeds playing together are my favorite - so high-spirited and free! My Samoyed has the same intense expression when he's chewing too, completely focused, almost in a trance, eyes scrunched up in concentration. My boy is also called Snowy, brings me joy and delight every single day... somehow he is extremely affectionate and gentle, and yet very independent too. "Typical Samoyed".

Love this gallery! Congrats to you on working your dogs... I'm just learning how important it is to all dogs, and especially the northern breeds, to pull/run. We have siberians, and I just got my brand new scooter that we've taken out twice now. They're getting the hang of it, but we have a lot more training to do... which is all fun! We had a samoyed for 10 years and it broke the families heart when he died. He was a member of the family, he was great with kids and he had a special gift to just make people feel good whenever he was around.

I just got a Samoyed dogs yesterday and it is very hard to keep clean but I think I can handle it their beautiful.

Samoyeds are the best! My 11 year old Zuni is so good with my grandkids - one day they opened his jaws to look at all his teeth, and he put up with it...although I told the kids that he would rather be taken for a walk. These dogs are not for everyone, because of their independent nature, but I love them.

This gallery is wonderful. I know you get a lot of practice shooting white but I am none the less impressed by the great exposure you get on every shot. These are great. And thank you for visiting my soul of the dog gallery and leaving such kind comments. By the way, the white dog you commented on was an american eskimo dog, not a samoyed. When I originally saw it I too thought it was a samoyed.
