I walked about downtown for some pictures.
It was hot and humid, 104º.
The skies overhead were dark with thunderclouds rolling in from the east.
I had the camera up to my eye when I saw a flash.
I thought it was the reflection from a car on the street.
I ignored it and continue with my photos.
There was a boom and a deep rumble from across the sky.
All across the streets the thunder was answered by car alarms.
I returned to my car for the drive home.
I was a few blocks away when it began to rain.
