Found one of these little guys in Waldport, Or along the Oregon coast.. apparently he gets around!

Dee. Perry I found this interesting caterpillar near our hops vines. 60 miles north of Portland, Me. near the coast. Never have I seen such a specimen- thanks to you I have now identified it. Looks like this one is on hops as well?

Tom, Thanks for this website. I spent several hours last summer photographing and making a video of a Rusty Tussock Moth and I'm now trying to created a series of imaged prints from one of the photos. Incredible creatures. I hadn't been able to identify it until now. Thanks!
