At @ 10;00 pm thought there was a odd piece of trash on porch. Then saw the head raise up an and forked tongue jutting out, noticed the black rattles. Called the Surprise (AZ) Fire Dept. The snake slithered away before F.D. arrived.
BTW, I was less than 1 1/2 feet from this snake and it never rattled it’s black rattles. The snake just raised its head up @ 6 to 8 inches above the concrete and put out its tongue.
