Hi Tom -- Great gallery! I don't know much about spiders yet, but I've tried photographing a few. I shot two different fisher spiders in our pond in Vermont. One resembles your six-spotted http://www.pbase.com/plbh/image/34172184 and next). The other seems to have 14 spots http://www.pbase.com/plbh/image/34172201).
