Veery - Catharus fuscescens

Groton, Ma.

This bird was looking through leaf litter at the edge of the woods behind my house, finding a few bug to eat like this caterpillar. It must have been very hungry, feeding as close as 20' from me for 15 minutes.

Amazing, tack sharp shot with great delineation in the feathers. A very cool catch (for both of you!). V
