Day 5: We commenced walking from Lama Hotel (2470m), headed west back to Bamboo (1960m), then crossed the Langtang Khola and made the tough climb to the village of Thulo Syabru (2130m). I remember the pain of constantly walking downhill on the day, with Thulo Syabru in view high up in the hill, knowing that whatever we lost in altitude must be regained with our tired legs...
