Mt Feathertop

18-19 July 2009: Went snow hiking with the YHA Bushwalking Club to Mt Feathertop. There was plenty of snow at Federation Hut campsite (65-80cm) and we summited twice, on Saturday and Sunday. It was windy (50km/h wind) and snowing on both summit days so views were limited. Overnight temperature on Saturday fell to around -5 degrees and there was about 10cm of snow on my tent when I woke up on Sunday.

Hi Tom
Great photos. Will be up there on Friday 24th July. Doing the razorback and then down to Harrietville. Hope to get to the summit as well.
