Staged Photography

The Dutch photographer Tjerk Verhagen is predominately focused on nature photography. Photography is his platform, but also the arts of painting and drawing intrigue him. Artists like M.C. Escher and Salvador Dali are some of Tjerk’s role models, but most of his inspiration comes from Hans-Werner Sahm. As soon as Tjerk saw the creations of Henk Tas, he decided to change his direction in photography. Since 2006 his direction in photography shifted to Staged photography. Through this style he portrays thoughts, images, humor and emotions from his perspective. Welcome to the world of Tjerk Verhagen!
