That afternoon, all I wanted was to take a hike in the forrest. Suddenly, I stood on a large clearance left by a storm on a low mountain crest. Low, but high enough to reach the high fog and to grow large ice cristalls now glistening in the sunlight on a thin and bumpy snow cover. Like something from another world. The only camera I was carrying with me was the IXUS 400, not exactly hailed for its macro capabilities ...
But it took these pictures and a few others now part of the «Trees» gallery.
So, what's the best camera then? The one at hand.
