A small town at the foot of the monumental Mythen mountains, that first gave its name to a canton and later for all of "Switzer"land. For the past few months I was working there from time to time. As it happend, the only time I brought my DSLR along, they held their annual livestock fair.
It is a living, unvarnished tradition, so there is no folklore, no tourists. Being a "city slicker" with a big camera, I felt slightly out of place ...
Only having time during lunch break, I had to make the best of the harsh noon light. After work, in the evening, the fair was already over and I just added a few pictures of buildings for which I originally had brought my camera with me.
