The very first flowers in my garden this spring! I planted a zillion bulbs last fall,
and I have no idea what these are.

Nice shot. I believe they are call Eranthis hyemalis. They are blooming in Washington Square Park in NYC now. Some of my shots of this flower are athttp://www.pbase.com/hjsteed/eranthis_hyemalis .
