I have been restoring a live steam engine in 1/8 scale for the last 3-1/2 years.
The tender, shown here, is very nearly finished. The engine is getting some final
plumbing and details added to it. Barring something unforeseen, my plan is to have
the engine running by the end of the month. BTW, it is coal fired!

That's a great shot what is obviously a labour of love. Hope we get to see the finished product. And coal fired is the only way to go with locos.
