my cuison was the 1 who broke his collar and it acuttaly was a good game in the begging itleast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i remember cheering at this game for waverly! it was definately an interesting game! and our qb getting hurt about killed us all even into basketball season because he had broken his collarbone in this game! but he still kept his head up and supported his team!

I dont see why they had to yell the game was clearly over like 2 minutes left i think you guys could have let that penalty pass cola didnt run all over us he only had 80 yards rushing i'll give him credit for the 3 tds waverly had him in control in the start but i think the more rain that fell gave advantage to valley

The CV fans were great. they were not "cheering" when the waverly qb got hurt, they werent even cheering, they were yelling because he had thrown his helmet 15 yards and no flag was thrown. their true test will be tomorrow at binghamton stadium to see if they can out number forks fans

My hats of to both teams for an exceptional effort by all. It certianly was a heart breaker to see one of our best teams in 50+ years fall in the first playoff game. This loss should not discourage any of them as none of the players have anything to be ashamed of. Good luck to CV against forks, hope your fans are as rowdy and ruthless as they were for this one.

THANKS Waverly for a great Place for a high school game. Its class all the way. Your commentator sets the tone for a wonderful night for our kids. No real football fan wanted to see anyone get hurt.Im not sure if Kuzma drove the bus there but he did a everything else he’s a terrific athlete and was fun to watch we wish him the best.CV parent

As a parent of one of the Waverly football players, I would just like to say how very PROUD I am of the entire team. It's a shame more fans didn't brave the rain on Friday and come out and show them more support both at the tailgating party and the game itself. This team has shown what it takes to pull together and come out with an undefeated regular season for the first time in over 50 years. THANK YOU for a wonderful season and best of luck to the Forks and Valley teams.

The fans weren't cheering because the QB got injured it was because he threw his helmet from about 15 feet on the field to the sidelines. I understand the frustration of the player, he is an excellent athlete, and to have to come out of a play-off game with an injury is frustrating and disappointing, but NEVER should a helmet be thrown, especially from the field. That should be a penalty.

from a waverly fans point of view, vally has a great team , and were good sportsman during and after the game. best of luck in the final against forks. But i cannot say the same about their fans , i have not seen people that chear when a player goes down with an injury like they did when waverlys QB Mark Kusma went down with a broken collar bone, i must say this was a real class act.
