Sydney Skyline

Taken on Clarke Island with Sydney homes in the background.
Centuries ago ingenious indigenous Australians cut grooves in the sandstone to trap fish when the tide receded.
Meanwhile, the white colonists were starving on either side of the harbour!!

Thanks for your comments, Sally, Michael, Cindy and Janice. I was honoured to learn the yarns about the island. Michael, the homes in e background are in the most costly postcode in Oz.
I'd love to photograph this rock when it is wet.
