Grede Foundry

Wisconsin

This 100+ year old building at Grede Foundry is scheduled to come down soon.

I am leaving for Charleston, SC and will not be home for 2 weeks. I won't have my computer with me. I'll try to check in as I can, and will catch up when I return.

I've been traveling too, so I apologize for not keeping up. This is an interesting find. I'm enjoying all of the squares and rectangles. :) Travel safely.

I like this too, Cindy. As a retired environmental cleanup consultant, no doubt there will be a substantial remediation effort here.....

I love the colors and textures and your overall capture, including the Do Not Enter sign :)

Have a great trip!

A catch, decay like this gives good texture and mood.
You image sparkes the imagination about the buildings past

l like this shot very much, Cindy.
You have a way with old structures.
Pity they have to be pulled down.
Have a safe trip. We look forward to your return.
