Fly

Lake Havasu City,AZ

I didn't fly in this machine, unlike Tony, who flew in the one in his photo. This ultra-light was seen flying above the lake and through the mountains in Lake Havasu. I figure that if you are the passenger, you have to have a lot of trust in the driver...and that "flimsy" motor!

A fine photo of this contraption, Cindy.
l've flown in one. The one comforting thought
is that should the motor konk out,
technically this is a glider.
That's what l kept telling myself, anyway :)

Not my idea of safety. The blur makes me think it might be shaking to bits!!!
:) :) :)

When I saw the thumbnail, I though OMG! Cindy is taking her life in her hands! :)
The slight blur gives this a good sense of action. I have used higher shutter speeds
for aircraft shots, but with everything frozen (including the propeller(s)) they never
look like they should be airborne!

Very nice image...
I gave up flying a long time ago. If I have to go from point A to B I'll drive...

Great catch with good color and detail.I now enjoy the views from a plane but I believe I want a more substantial body than that.
