Just been reading a little about Moire and anti aliasing, just so much more to learn.
Nice sense of gentle movement in the water.

A fine shot Cindy, I'd like to be sitting on the river bank just soaking up the autumn sun and listening to the water flow by. A very peaceful looking scene.

Thank you Terry, Michael, Hal, Rudi,Lennart and Bob. Your comments are very much appreciated.
I'm still trying to get my processing of the M9 files down. Rudi, there is a ton of detail in the 18MP file. The lack of AA filter allows the fine detail to come through. I have seen moire on my M8 files before but haven't encountered it yet (friends with M9 have). Moire is not hard to deal with in the raw processor. The big dslr companies blur our photos because they think we can't handle moire. You can send a Canon or Nikon to maxmax and have the AA filter removed and you will get more of that fine detail on most any dslr.

This is so fine! I can almost hear the water and breathe
the cool, fresh air.

Great scenery! This is the kind of landscape I recognize from our mountain areas!

Gorgeous scene! How do you find the fine detail, like the foliage, with the M9 sensor, Cindy? (Seeing it has no anti-aliasing filter in front of it). Any problems with moiré?

This reminds me a lot of rivers in NZ Cindy
Makes me want to go find my trout rod.
lt looks as though there'd be trout in that lovely river.
A lovely photograph. l hear the water rushing there.

a peaceful, calm, and restful scene, Cindy, very well_captured.
Beautifully done, and an example of what a landscape should be.

What gorgeous spot, Cindy. Such a tranquil and well-done
image.
