The Overlook is a terminus for several trails, including the eponymous Overlook Trail. Middle Earth Trail starts here also.

Don Pedro Reservoir is a huge lake on the Tuolumne River. The portion of lake visible in this image is merely a small arm of the middle segment of the whole. The lake floods 3 transverse valleys and various tributary canyons, requiring several modern concrete bridges to have been built, including the Ward's Ferry Bridge, AKA "Graffiti Bridge."
