The cenotaph was made 1924 by Jo Mora, an Uruguay born artist.
His original name was Joseph Jacinto Mora, born in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The Chapel is now called a Jo Morra Chapel in his honor. He settled in
California and became a Carmel native. This Cenotaph is one of his creations.
