Aachen

Aachen / Aken / Aix-la-Chapelle is a 2000 year old city, known already in Roman times. It is located at the edge of Germany, Belgium and Holland. It hosts probably the best Technical University in Germany, providing a conservative but very well based education to generations of engineers.

In Aachen we stayed at a home of our friends. We enjoyed great hospitality, local German cousine, magnificent garden and art deco challenging best staged displays.
