A foggy Sept. morning at Quabbin reservoir, North Central Massachusetts, USA, finds a family of deer, a doe with three youngsters, enjoying a drink of clear, pure water on a late summer's day.

I was wearing a camouflage hat and shirt and dark blue 'jeans'. Though one or more looked directly at me, (as you will see), the doe did not give a warning 'snort' 'til I moved.
