Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada

Thus was the last park on our trip and it was a real gem. Lots to see, plenty of hiking, and wonderful colours. Very highly recommended and it's only 75-90 minutes from Las Vegas. If you are approaching from the south then do drive the North Shore Road. It's a great way into the park.
