I've never experienced anything like the Amalfi Coast. Our ship arrived at Salerno where we boarded a motor launch for a 45 minute ride on the senic Mediterranean to Amalfi. The views were majestic, one right after the other. We then explored the narrow streets of the maritime village of Amalif. Amalfi can be found at the mouth of a deep gorge. We then return to Salerno and board a bus for Pompeii. This was one of my favorites. This adventure was completed in 8 1/2 hours. The memories will last a lifetime.
