Chris Hickford from the New Haw Youth Project said: "We're absolutely delighted to accept this donation. Not only does Paul turn up regularly to chat and listen to the young people, he also goes the extra mile like raising this money. We are really grateful to Paul for his efforts with the New Haw Youth Project and local young people. The money is going to be used to help the youngsters set up their own website. We are also going to invite a local artist to come and hold a workshop so that the group can create their own branded logo which we can put on our letterhead and the website."

The New Haw Youth Project is a local scheme for youngsters aged between 11-16 years. The group meets once a week at the New Haw Learning Centre and offers a whole host of activities and support for youngsters. These range from an after school club and computer skills, to anger management courses and a life changing work experience trip to Kenya.
