If I were a betting man, I would say that the vast majority of you have never seen an actual pinhole camera.

Then, I am in the minority. :-) In fact, my first experience with the 'camera obscura' was whilst laying in bed (in 'quarantine') with a bad dose of measles when I was ~ 8 or so, and the roller blinds had been closed to help me avoid painful sunlight glare to my eyes. I became aware that a 'pinhole' in the dark roller blind was causing a fuzzy image of the world outside to appear upside down and reversed on the darkened wall opposite. Since that day, I have made use of tins, boxes, cereal and milk cartons et al, with POP or film, to repeat the experience. Fascinating, and always the source of fond memories of my youth.
